What are they all about?

As we age, the structures and contours of our faces change over time. This process involves changes in skin integrity, fat pads, and bone. Biochemically, the naturally occurring substances like hyaluronic acid and collagen diminish over time, primarily driving the ageing process from within. Other factors like genetics, emotional states, muscle activity play their role. Externally, factors such as lifestyle choices including diet, environmental conditions, can also influence the rate of ageing, which can vary for each individual.

At Adore Clinics, we offer a variety of treatment plans to address these changes, whether they are subtle or more pronounced. Our treatments range from topical applications to subcutaneous and intramuscular treatments with filling solutions, professionally administered to replenish affected areas and rejuvenate the skin.

All products used at Adore Clinics are TGA-approved and administered in a safe and tranquil environment. Our goal is to provide personalised, effective solutions to help you look and feel your best.

Any contraindications

1. Known hypersensitivity to any component of the Dermal Filler products.

2. Presence of any signs of infection at the proposed injection site.

3. Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or attempting to conceive.

4. Diagnosis of some neurological conditions i.e. myasthenia gravis or Eaton Lambert (myasthenic) syndrome.

At Adore, we strongly recommend a minimum of fourteen days wait before and after receiving any vaccinations when planning for this treatment.

  • Upper eyelid fillers /A-frame treatments :

    Upper eyelid fillers play a crucial role in rejuvenating the facial aesthetic by addressing tired and hollow appearance associated with aging. Despite being under-appreciated, these fillers are essential for managing ageing signs, providing rejuvenation to the upper eyelids.

    Frown Treatments:

    Frown lines are deep creases between the eyebrows, giving the impression of a constant frown. Unlike wrinkles caused by aging and sun damage, frown lines result mainly from muscle overactivity and can appear as early as one's 20s.

    Temple treatments:

    Treating the temples with dermal filler may not seem immediately apparent, but it can greatly enhance facial aesthetics by restoring lost volume, shape and size.

    With this technique, there is a subtle lift to the brow and cheeks, mimicking a mini facelift.

    Forehead treatments:

    Forehead filler treatment utilizes dermal fillers to enhance the appearance of the forehead by restoring volume, contour to the upper face. It addresses deep wrinkles and heavy brows, offering augmentation and rejuvenation. This quick and convenient procedure delivers natural-looking results.

All prescribed medication used at Adore Clinics:

  • Are TGA approved

  • Take between 15-30mins to complete.

    (a 15-minute observation time is recommended after the treatment)

  • Lasts between 6-12months (and some up to 18 months)

  • Results are immediate, but are expected to peak around the 3-4 weeks mark.

Expected skin reactions:

Just like any procedures done on or into the skin, there are certain expected local reactions that tend to occur, and which are expected with all injectable treatments. However these tend to settled within hours after treatment.

They include;

  • local pain

  • swelling

  • minor bruising

  • Colour change (mostly pinkish)

  • Feeling of heaviness in the treated area/areas

At Adore, we also provide complementary gels to assist with pain and swelling at the time of treatment. We can recommend other OTC products you can use at your preference.

General blocks of ice, can be applied (gently), on the treated area/areas, although not more than 10 minutes in one hour for relief.
